We’re always looking for ways to make our products simpler, cleaner and better performing. We recently made a few thoughtful improvements to two Standard No More formulas.
Shampoo & Body Wash
We’ve removed rice water, marshmallow root extract and hyaluronic acid from our Shampoo & Body Wash.
All three are great ingredients, but they weren’t the best fit for this formula. Rice water can present additional microbial challenges, marshmallow root extract can vary in consistency, and hyaluronic acid is better suited for leave-on products where it has more time to benefit the skin and hair.
In their place, we’ve added two naturally derived powerhouse ingredients: allantoin and sodium lactate.
Allantoin is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, helping calm irritation on both the scalp and skin while supporting softer, smoother skin. Sodium lactate is a powerful humectant that helps attract and retain moisture, improving hydration for both skin and hair.
Together, they turbocharge the performance of our Shampoo & Body Wash while allowing us to keep the formula simple and aligned with our non-toxic standards.
Body Spray
We’ve also made a small but meaningful improvement to our Brightwood Body Spray by adding organic glycerin.
Glycerin is a plant-derived humectant that helps attract and retain moisture, leaving skin soft, smooth and hydrated while helping slow fragrance evaporation for a longer-lasting scent.
Still organic. Still synthetic fragrance-free. Still rocks!
